BSW Roofing & Solar recently completed my solar install and some associated roof repairs. Throughout the work we had great communication. Their plans which I had to submit to my very strict HOA were approved without question. From that point the install proceeded quickly. The workers were clean and tidy inside and on the outside of the house. Because they installed the entire conduit inside the attic the roofline is very clean and more importantly all the conduits are protected from the elements. The solar system was installed to make it part of the house not just an add-on.

BSW Installed our Solar Panels recently. The project manager Robert was very professional, personable and explained the process from start to finish very efficiently. Back in February I called BSW Roofing & Solar to come out and look at my roof as it needed repairs. I spoke to Jerry Ennis “Project Manager” about my roof and that I was also looking at solar again. Jerry asked if he could bring along Michelle Meier director of Solar Solutions. I said yes I would like to speak to her also. When they arrived my roof was inspected at no charge, I was told that my roof would need repair, and the part that would have solar on it needed to be replaced, but suggested that I do the whole roof at one time. I agreed. While here Michelle went over their solar program, what it would cost and what I needed. After looking at the whole project I decided to go ahead with the project. Why? Both Jerry and Michelle were so professional in the way they presented themselves. They were the only ones that recommended a new roof. The others did not say anything about my roof needing to be replaced. I know that it did because I had other roofing companies look at my roof and tell me it needed to be replaced. I am so glad that I had one company “BSW” do the whole project. The service that I received from the company was unbelievable, from all the labors that worked on my roof to the labors that did my solar, kept me informed at all points of construction, even the electrician that did my new electrical panel. My sister was in need of a roof for a long time. Water was getting into her 1912 adobe house for a very long time. I placed tarps every winter, but it only got worse. We needed a new roof since our double layer of wood shingles had been penetrated in two places by some type of animal. The roofing was very aged and we knew it was due for replacement regardless of the recent damage. We love BSW. Guillermo from BSW Roofing has been my contact for almost 1 1/2 yrs. they redid are roof 1 1/2 years ago and so solar tubes. They had no problem with the fact that we had existing solar on our roof. Recently I noticed some discolored tiles from all the rain in Bakersfield we had this past year. I called Guillermo he came out in addition to cleaning the roof tile as it was just some dirt that had piled up he went through reinspected our roof cleaned and blew off all the dirt from our solar panels they we had purchased from another company. He did this all free of charge since they have an amazing contract from almost 2 years ago.

The guys over at BSW are really amazing.We worked with Luis. He is down to earth and honest. They installed our roof in Spring 2017 after our home started leaking during Christmas.They found out the original builders cut corners and never put the felt underneath the tiles to prevent leaks. We had a huge problem but they did a wonderful job at working with us and helped us find the right solution for our home.

I am so grateful for their support and making this huge purchase as smooth as possible. They even came back and fixed a spot that had the tiniest hole and had another leak.

My Pleasant and Gratifying Experience with BSW Roofing I seldom publish a review in public forum. However, the exceptional services I received from BSW in the last couple of years convinced me that, for the benefit of others who are looking for an excellent contractor to install/repair roof, I highly recommend BSW for the work.

In early 2017, for preventive maintenance, my wife and I hired BSW Roofing to clean, inspect and make necessary repairs on the roof at my house. The work was performed promptly. BSW provide a warranty on the work.

In May 2019, I noticed a leak from the roof along a vent pipe after I came home from out-of-town. I contacted BSW to seek help. After talking with Ernie Montoya on my concern, he quickly dispatched a supervisor, David Boyd, to the house to check out the problem. David inspected the entire roof area near the vents. Within a week after the inspection, a crew was sent to perform the repairs (including replacing asphalt felt at two spots and four roof tiles). The crew did an excellent job including cleaning up afterwards.

Three weeks after this repair, I noticed a cracked tile at the edge of the roof (on another side of the house from where the vents were). The crack may have been caused by a falling dried palm tree branch). I contacted Ernie asking for a favor to help and sent him a photo of the roof where the cracked tile locates. Again, without questioning, he dispatched a crew within a week to replace the tile for me. BSW provided these work mentioned above at no charge.

BSW (Ernie and Cindy) is very approachable. Work was performed expeditiously. Ernie really takes care of its customers, always helpful, stands behind the work performed and warranty made by the company. His action demonstrates the continued commitments and the professional services offered by the Montoya Family all these years to the City of Bakersfield and the nearby communities.
