Storm damage and insurance claims
Out-of-town crews appear after every big blow and disappear before the warranty matters. BSW has been on the same corner of P Street since 1971. Here is how we handle storm work.

Storm work has two jobs: stop the water now, and document everything so the repair gets paid for properly. We do both, in that order.
Active leaks get tarped and dried in before anything else happens. That protects your ceilings, your insulation and your claim, because secondary damage from an unprotected roof is where disputes start.
We photograph the roof, the attic where relevant, and every piece of damage we find, dated and organized. If you file a claim, you and your adjuster get the whole picture. We will meet the adjuster on the roof and walk it together.
What we will not do: inflate scope, chase hail that is not there, or play games with your deductible. Waiving deductibles is insurance fraud, and companies offering it are telling you exactly who they are.
Once the scope is settled, the work is ordinary roofing, and that is the part an 85-year company is built for. Repairs are warrantied the same as any other BSW job, and we are still here next storm season.

The claim questions everyone has.
Call us first if water is actively coming in, so it can be stopped and documented. For the claim itself, your insurer's process governs. We photograph everything and can meet your adjuster on the roof so the damage gets seen properly.

Say so when you call. Active leaks go first.
